“A close friend’s mother had passed away from a lengthy bout with cancer, and had been greatly supported by hospice services.  As I was thinking about something meaningful to do in her honor, my great friend and colleague Susan Merfeld called to see if I might consider working with the board of Hospice Foundation.  The incredible timing made it easy to say ‘yes,’ and the experience is one that is greatly enriching my life in every way.” — Cathy Faber

Cathy Faber joined the Hospice Foundation board of directors in July, 2011.
