Nanci Markey

Born in Columbus Ohio, Nanci Markey attended Ohio State University and moved to Southern California in the early 1960s. She spent 30 years in management for J.W. Robinsons, I. Magnin and Bonwit Teller in Los Angeles.

Nanci relocated to the Monterey Peninsula in early 2000s and today is the professional buyer and manager of the Monterey Museum of Arts’ store.

Prior to joining MMA, Nanci served five years on the museum’s board of directors. She also served three years on the board for Monterey Peninsula Country Club and is currently chair of MPCC’s Membership Committee.

Nanci has experienced the wonderful care of hospice for her mother and late husband. She lives in Pebble Beach and has two grown daughters and a granddaughter.
