$1.038 MILLION AWARDED BY HOSPICE FOUNDATION
TO 10 LOCAL END-OF-LIFE CHARITIES
Foundation Announces Grants for 2009-2010
ospice
care for adults and children, palliative care in local
hospitals, and specialized bereavement support for families
are just a few of the services that are funded by Hospice
Foundation for its 2009-2010 fiscal year, which began on
July 1.
Ten California Central Coast charities will receive a total
of $1.038 million to provide end-of-life care and support services for Monterey and San Benito
residents.
"Hospice Foundation funding allows these providers to concentrate
on doing what they do best--offer professional assistance, a
helping hand, a listening ear, a compassionate heart," said
Ms. Kinsler, and we are proud to partner with them in that
effort."
A three-way
Partnership of Caring, Comfort, and Compassion
Since its founding in 1997, Hospice Foundation has worked
diligently in the community to create a three-way
partnership with donors and service providers to support a
network of care and comfort for those at the end of life,
and their families.
Your donations begin this circle. With your support, it is
the Foundation's goal to not only make our community a better place
to live, but a caring and compassionate place to die.
