Volunteer Opportunities

Hospice Foundation hosts and organizes several events throughout the year as part of its fundraising and community outreach activities. These events include the Hospice Foundation Golf Scramble, Trees of Life tree lightings in Monterey, Salinas, Hollister and King City during the holidays, and our Southern Comfort South County Keeps Hospice Care at Home, a BBQ and Auction.  We also conduct the BIG Spring Raffle, and the Foundation hosts several educational seminars and workshops.

Volunteers are always welcome to serve as event chairs or on organizing committees, to assist in the foundation office with data entry, invitation assembly or with other mailings. Assistance is also welcome with registering guests at events, serving as greeters, and with a variety of other activities or clerical duties. You may even have special skills, such as in computer technology or marketing, that you would like to offer. As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie with staff and others, and you’ll be helping to support hospice care in our community.
